Are you looking for a cozy place equipped with all the comforts of home for an exciting getaway??? Then you will definitely want to check out the Rustic Haven Cabin located in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
Broken Bow is located in the south eastern portion of Oklahoma and is near Broken Bow Lake and Beaver’s Bend State Park. There are local restaurants and activities less than 10 minutes from this cabin yet it is nice and secluded amongst all the pine trees.
Rustic Haven Cabin
The Rustic Haven cabin is the last cabin that I stayed in at the end of May 2025. It has a beautiful appeal to it and is even pet friendly! It is a one story, two bedroom cabin that is complete with a large deck area and even a hot tub!
This was actually the first cabin that I’ve been able to take Macy with me to! And she done wonderful as it was also her first time being away from home for more than a couple of hours.
Upon entering the cabin you will be welcomed by the spacious living area that just flows into the dining and kitchen area. I think that I will just let the pictures speak for themselves on this one.
You have plenty on natural lighting as the whole side of the cabin is windows and sliding glass doors.
The kitchen is very spacious and very well stocked with all the pots, pans, baking sheet and utensils that you will need. And compared to other cabins that I have stayed in, there is actually plenty of cabinet space to store your food and snacks in so they don’t have to be strung out all over the counter space. Generally, these cabins have limited cabinets but not this one!
When you enter into the living room but before you reach the kitchen is the first king bedroom. It is very spacious and I absolutely loved the wall behind the bed.
It has its own private bathroom that includes a jet tub and huge shower!
If you walk past the dining area you will then find the other king bedroom. This bedroom has it’s own sliding glass door that leads to the back deck.
This bedroom also has it’s own bathroom that has a jet tub and shower.
Once you step out the sliding glass doors from the bedroom, to the right you will have some seating along with a tv. Around the corner from there is also an outdoor dining table so you can enjoy a nice meal in nature when the weather allows it.
If you go left when you walk out of the bedroom it will lead you down a few stairs and to the fire pit that has some seating and also a couple swings.
Back to the deck area, there is a little walk way that leads you to the hot tub that is fully covered and private.
Pros and Cons
Overall, I really liked this cabin and enjoyed staying in it! Here are a few pros and cons about it.
Pros of the Rustic Haven Cabin
- Pet friendly cabin
- Has a wonderful back deck area
- Has a spacious kitchen and open floor plan
- Kitchen is well stocked with anything needed for cooking like pots, pans, baking sheets, utensils, etc.
- Is very modern in design and layout
- Is pretty secluded and private
Cons of the Rustic Haven Cabin
- Lots of stairs leading up to the front porch
- Even though it’s pet friendly, there isn’t very much grass areas (if any) for your pet to potty. It’s mostly gravel and rocks around the cabin
This was definitely a wonderful cabin that I would stay at again. If you want to you can CHECK IT OUT ON AIRBNB and maybe plan a vacation for yourself!
